Today we live in a world where we are becoming more aware of our own wellness and longevity is thus increasing. Organic clothing is not only a healthier choice for little babies, but it also insures safety and health to our environment.

Organic clothes are manufactured from toxic-free materials. They are free from petrochemicals, flame retardants, heavy metals, and some other toxins that may be dangerous to the baby. Skin allergic reactions, asthma, poisoning, and cancer could be the health problems that are connected to conventionally grown plants such as cotton. Organic treatment to cotton plants including the use of manure fertilizers and crop rotation.

Areas within the near vicinity of conventionally sprayed production facilities get the worst of the environmental impacts but the residues of some of these chemicals may be rubbing off on your baby. Thinner baby’s skin absorbs toxins more easily and they are at a greater risk for pesticide-related health problems than adults.

Children in the U.S. receive up to 35 percent of their estimated lifetime dose of some carcinogenic pesticides by age five through food, contaminated drinking water, household use, and pesticide drift.

Conventionally produced cotton material lasts 10-20 washes before it starts to break down, but organic cotton material lasts for 100 washes or more before it begins to wear down. Conventionally produced cotton is put through the wringer during its production through scouring, bleaching, dying, softening, formaldehyde spray, and flame and soil retardants before it is even shipped to be cut for patterns.

Organics For Kids sources their certified organic cotton from two organic cotton suppliers, both of which certify with: Soil Association, Ethical Trading Initiative, and through the Control Union (formerly SKAL): CU is an internationally recognised (Dutch) body, which ensures that the cotton is grown organically, and that the processing (spinning, weaving, washing, dyeing, etc) is undertaken in an environmentally responsible way.

Their garments also adhere to the GOTS: GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARDS.

Their dyes meet the Oeko-tex 100 standard, which protects against harmful substances.

But the main reason the childrens clothing is so wonderful is the adorable prints, zigzags, and patterns on the clothing and pajamas.

Keeping kids interested is simple its just like fancy garnishing. Tikes are usually a trendy bunch, their interest will be kept if the food is styled in new and unusual ways. Its hard to stay consistently creative in this department unless you prepare ahead.

Make Sunday your prep day by filling small plastic reusable containers with yogurt for dipping or berries. Put them in the freezer and take one out each day-at lunchtime they will be nice and cool.
Fill enough containers on Sunday to pop into lunches each day.
Try trail mix or organic popcorn a super low calorie snack.
Vegetables should be bite size and have a dunking dip or dressing: hummus, salsa or yogurt.
Make fruit bite size & put on skewers.
Cut sandwiches smaller or use cookie cutter. my fave PB, banana & honey!
Tiny portions of spaghetti with sauce can be placed into cupcake papers and frozen in tupperware for a quick grab.
Don’t forget fun items like quesidillas, hard boiled eggs, bagels, cubed watermelon, tube style yogurt or cold mini pancakes (delicious)
Pack crackers with cheese that you shape with cookie cutters: dinos, gnomes, etc..
You really cannot go wrong if you style food in the shape of animals or characters.
More ideas at Flickr Bentos, Kids Eats & Vegetarian Bento
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 260px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BHQ553Wq3QQ/SsGLUvG_37I/AAAAAAAAI18/7a_qf48mg3w/s400/goodbyn.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386739817671286706" /><img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_BHQ553Wq3QQ/SsGDjF0GsZI/AAAAAAAAI10/y_5ip1sBJko/s400/b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5386731268191203730" />
Goodbyn
Bento
