Eco-artist Kathleen Nowak Tucci of My Sister’s Art recycles rubber materials into couture creations. Her recycled jewelry was recently featured in the Italian Vogue oil-spill editorial featuring Kristen McMenamy in the Sept. 2010 issue.
Vogue often mixes politics and fashion and this spread referencing the gulf oil spill by photographer Steven Meisel is making big waves in the fashion community. Tucci's work beautifully compliments and accessorizes the all black theme for this shoot.
