Denver Botanical Gardens is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Denver. They offer a wonderful summer concert series and many wonderful programs. I am especially fond of their 'Sam Mitchell Herbarium of Fungi', the Colorado rare plant research, the Japanese garden and the tropical greenhouse with modern style.
