Clear Space Modular Homes from Austin is finally another affordable prefab unit that is attractive. Their 'Casita' is a 432sf retreat with corrugated metal siding and white washed wood screening. It has an integrated veranda and sliding glass doors. One wall can accommodate a murphy bed, work area, or built in book shelving. Also inside this unit are a compact kitchen, 3/4 bath and utility room. Clear Space has larger prefab units up to 3 bedrooms. Ballpark costs for the homes delivered from Texes are $130-150sf, but are material and site dependent.
