adaptive reuse: boat architecture
In Northern Europe from Scotland, England to France; reuse of old boat frames is utilized as a resourceful, smart method of creating a quick and decorative roofline for smaller sheds or homes.
These examples form a mini regionalism of the boat form, a seaside look that can be replicated along any coastal region. A hull roofline is dramatic, unique and most importantly recycled!
